This is a high school romance, Beth and Grayson were destined to be together。 Beth becomes Graysons tutor (which gave me such big One Tree Hill vibes #naley anyone?? 😂) they are instantly drawn to each other have such good flirty banter together but they face their obstacles along the way and not everything works out the way they want it to…。You can definitely tell this is a high school romance so it is slightly more light hearted in that sense however each of the characters had depth to them as This is a high school romance, Beth and Grayson were destined to be together。 Beth becomes Graysons tutor (which gave me such big One Tree Hill vibes #naley anyone?? 😂) they are instantly drawn to each other have such good flirty banter together but they face their obstacles along the way and not everything works out the way they want it to…。You can definitely tell this is a high school romance so it is slightly more light hearted in that sense however each of the characters had depth to them aswell so whilst it is a typical high school romance there’s also a little bit more to it aswell which makes the characters a bit more realistic and by the end I felt myself slightly attached to them。 There’s also a couple steamy scenes thrown in there too which is always a plus when reading a romance 😏I really enjoyed this book and I can already tell it’s going to be a great series so can’t wait for more of the books to be released! 。。。more
Lauren,
What a read!Gray and Beth both have things hard。 They both had a hard upbringing and they had a lot to work through on their own but together there's something about them that's magic。 I loved their banter! This was an enjoyable read although emotional at times but full of surprises and kept me hooked。 To say I'm excited to see where this series leads is a huge understatement。 What a read!Gray and Beth both have things hard。 They both had a hard upbringing and they had a lot to work through on their own but together there's something about them that's magic。 I loved their banter! This was an enjoyable read although emotional at times but full of surprises and kept me hooked。 To say I'm excited to see where this series leads is a huge understatement。 。。。more

I loved this author in the start and then went away from this genre and came back and didn't appreciate it as much anymore。 I still enjoy this genre of bully romances but they aren't my favourite anymore, and if they are, they are from other authors。 It's a fun little read if y'all would like though。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 I loved this author in the start and then went away from this genre and came back and didn't appreciate it as much anymore。 I still enjoy this genre of bully romances but they aren't my favourite anymore, and if they are, they are from other authors。 It's a fun little read if y'all would like though。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
Raqueni,
I liked Beth and Grayson a lot。 After catching a glimpse of her in the series prequel (Haven at HH) I knew she was going to be fun and her story was going to be a good one。 Since the moment they met, the banter between them is amazing and together they make the cutest couple。 Both of them have their own issues to work through aside of the relationship and within each other and that creates the perfect drama。 One thing I needed to remember while reading the book was that they are both teenagers a I liked Beth and Grayson a lot。 After catching a glimpse of her in the series prequel (Haven at HH) I knew she was going to be fun and her story was going to be a good one。 Since the moment they met, the banter between them is amazing and together they make the cutest couple。 Both of them have their own issues to work through aside of the relationship and within each other and that creates the perfect drama。 One thing I needed to remember while reading the book was that they are both teenagers and therefore they act like teenagers and not like I would expect grown adults to behave。 Also loved the little nods to the rest of Katie’s books! The little pieces of the rest of the rebels were enough to have me waiting the next book excitedly, I mean step-brothers and enemies to lovers! 。。。more

I thought this book was entertaining but emotional。 Beth transfers to a new school and meets Gray, who is the leader of his small group。 Gray is a player with a different girl every week but for some reason, is drawn to Beth and wants it to be different whether he knows it or not。 Beth is also drawn to Gray despite his reputation。 These two have a sizzling chemistry and I enjoyed their banter with each other as it is fun, sweet and also a little dirty。 I liked how there is an emotional depth to I thought this book was entertaining but emotional。 Beth transfers to a new school and meets Gray, who is the leader of his small group。 Gray is a player with a different girl every week but for some reason, is drawn to Beth and wants it to be different whether he knows it or not。 Beth is also drawn to Gray despite his reputation。 These two have a sizzling chemistry and I enjoyed their banter with each other as it is fun, sweet and also a little dirty。 I liked how there is an emotional depth to the characters as they undergo some emotional and physical battles with family but yet can shoulder through to a better future。I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest review。 。。。more

Wow what a story! I loved the novella of Layla and Dean, where we first meet Beth and I couldn't wait to see what her story was going to be about。 Beth is a true romantic at heart who is curious about Grayson after seeing him walk the halls with the other "Rebels" and is instantly attracted to him。 When she is picked by Grayson to become his science tutor they hit it off。 Grayson has an unhappy home life that he hides and spends his Friday nights with the other rebels drinking his problems away。 Wow what a story! 4。5 starsKatie has come back again with another great story with Beth and Grayson! I loved these two so much from the very beginning。 They definitely go through a lot of struggles as individuals and together, but I feel like they get stronger and their love becomes even deeper because of it。I loved their journey together; it truly makes you feel a lot of emotions but also smile and laugh because of the banter and flirty moments they have that are my absolute favs! Mrs A,
This was easy to read and enjoyable。 Had a great plot, told from a dual point of view。 Beth and Gray have an instant attraction to one another。 Both have had difficult upbringing, especially Grayson who is confused by his feelings for Beth。 There are some surprises/ plot twists as well。 Felt the characters could have had some depth to truly complete the story。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。
Cassie W,
I enjoyed this one more than Haven of Hollowdale High。 Probably due to the fact that it was longer and allowed us to see a tad bit more of the relationship developing between the characters。However, I still felt like there were a lot of potential scenes that were skipped over that could have shown their relationship building that was just briefly mentioned。 I wish we could have seen a bit more and there weren’t so many small jumps in the story。I enjoyed the characters a bit more。 I thought they I enjoyed this one more than Haven of Hollowdale High。 Probably due to the fact that it was longer and allowed us to see a tad bit more of the relationship developing between the characters。However, I still felt like there were a lot of potential scenes that were skipped over that could have shown their relationship building that was just briefly mentioned。 I wish we could have seen a bit more and there weren’t so many small jumps in the story。I enjoyed the characters a bit more。 I thought they were both interesting and I did like the relationship the two of them had and their story。 Sometimes I felt like Beth forgave Gray way too often and should have given him a little bit more shit for the things he did。 It seemed like no matter what he did, she barely asked questions about it or told him how it made her feel。 He was just quickly forgiven。In the end, I did enjoy it and am interested to see how the rest of the series goes。 。。。more

Beth is new to HollowDale, She is warned by all her friends to stay away from the popular boy Grayson。 Does she listen to all her friends or does she ignore them。 What happens when she becomes his tutor, well things just escalate from there。 They’re put into a situation they never thought was possible。 Things become hard for them especially for Grayson with the stuff that happening in his home with his dad and BETH is having challenges at home too。 They overcome a lot of obstacles together。 This Beth is new to HollowDale, She is warned by all her friends to stay away from the popular boy Grayson。 Does she listen to all her friends or does she ignore them。 What happens when she becomes his tutor, well things just escalate from there。 They’re put into a situation they never thought was possible。 Things become hard for them especially for Grayson with the stuff that happening in his home with his dad and BETH is having challenges at home too。 They overcome a lot of obstacles together。 This book has the trope popular boy new Girl。 This book was a fun easy read。 I couldn’t put it down。 It was a good coming out of age high-school romance。 I learned some personal things while reading this book。 。。。more

You guys this series is gunna be sooo good! Already there’s plots and Easter eggs popping up and I can’t wait to see where it takes us! Their banter is top notch and there were so many moments in this book that I just laughed at out loud! They have serious flanter (flirty banter) that makes your cheeks blush and your stomach flip。 However the story takes quite a turn, putting both of them into a situation they never thought would happen。 On top of that, Grayson is having problems at home and Beth is having life changing problems at home too。 Even though the book isn’t dark, their journey, both individual takes them to some deep places that really makes you sympathise with them。 This book is high school, and it’s obvious。 The way they deal with things to the extent I was SCREAMING at the book because I just wanted to knock their heads together。。 but in a good way! My stomach was in knots with the way it was going and I just needed it all to be okay and I’m not sure when I turned into an adult but I wanted to mother these characters so bad LOL! I couldn’t put it down once I’d started, it was such a good high school, coming of age romance that teaches you to deal with the path life throws you and accepting it。 There’s also a couple cheeky steamy scenes in there which we all love to see! 。。。more
