This is a high school romance， Beth and Grayson were destined to be together。 Beth becomes Graysons tutor （which gave me such big One Tree Hill vibes #naley anyone？？ 😂） they are instantly drawn to each other have such good flirty banter together but they face their obstacles along the way and not everything works out the way they want it to…。You can definitely tell this is a high school romance so it is slightly more light hearted in that sense however each of the characters had depth to them as This is a high school romance， Beth and Grayson were destined to be together。 Beth becomes Graysons tutor （which gave me such big One Tree Hill vibes #naley anyone？？ 😂） they are instantly drawn to each other have such good flirty banter together but they face their obstacles along the way and not everything works out the way they want it to…。You can definitely tell this is a high school romance so it is slightly more light hearted in that sense however each of the characters had depth to them aswell so whilst it is a typical high school romance there’s also a little bit more to it aswell which makes the characters a bit more realistic and by the end I felt myself slightly attached to them。 There’s also a couple steamy scenes thrown in there too which is always a plus when reading a romance 😏I really enjoyed this book and I can already tell it’s going to be a great series so can’t wait for more of the books to be released！ 。。。more

I liked Beth and Grayson a lot。 After catching a glimpse of her in the series prequel （Haven at HH） I knew she was going to be fun and her story was going to be a good one。 Since the moment they met， the banter between them is amazing and together they make the cutest couple。 Both of them have their own issues to work through aside of the relationship and within each other and that creates the perfect drama。 One thing I needed to remember while reading the book was that they are both teenagers a I liked Beth and Grayson a lot。 After catching a glimpse of her in the series prequel （Haven at HH） I knew she was going to be fun and her story was going to be a good one。 Since the moment they met， the banter between them is amazing and together they make the cutest couple。 Both of them have their own issues to work through aside of the relationship and within each other and that creates the perfect drama。 One thing I needed to remember while reading the book was that they are both teenagers and therefore they act like teenagers and not like I would expect grown adults to behave。 Also loved the little nods to the rest of Katie’s books！ The little pieces of the rest of the rebels were enough to have me waiting the next book excitedly， I mean step-brothers and enemies to lovers！ 。。。more

Wow what a story！ I loved the novella of Layla and Dean， where we first meet Beth and I couldn't wait to see what her story was going to be about。 Beth is a true romantic at heart who is curious about Grayson after seeing him walk the halls with the other "Rebels" and is instantly attracted to him。 When she is picked by Grayson to become his science tutor they hit it off。 Grayson has an unhappy home life that he hides and spends his Friday nights with the other rebels drinking his problems away。 Wow what a story！ I loved the novella of Layla and Dean， where we first meet Beth and I couldn't wait to see what her story was going to be about。 Beth is a true romantic at heart who is curious about Grayson after seeing him walk the halls with the other "Rebels" and is instantly attracted to him。 When she is picked by Grayson to become his science tutor they hit it off。 Grayson has an unhappy home life that he hides and spends his Friday nights with the other rebels drinking his problems away。 When he starts to talk to Beth he is intrigued by her and the way she makes him feel。 When one drunken night together results in an unexpected situation their relationship is tested and secrets are unravelled。I loved Beth and Grayson's characters， they had a lot going on at home and both weren't given the best starts in life。 They both have a lot to work through individually and together and their story to me was highly emotional and extremely relatable and real。 I can't wait for the next book in this series about Arianna and Rock。 。。。more

This was easy to read and enjoyable。 Had a great plot， told from a dual point of view。 Beth and Gray have an instant attraction to one another。 Both have had difficult upbringing， especially Grayson who is confused by his feelings for Beth。 There are some surprises/ plot twists as well。 Felt the characters could have had some depth to truly complete the story。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

I enjoyed this one more than Haven of Hollowdale High。 Probably due to the fact that it was longer and allowed us to see a tad bit more of the relationship developing between the characters。However， I still felt like there were a lot of potential scenes that were skipped over that could have shown their relationship building that was just briefly mentioned。 I wish we could have seen a bit more and there weren’t so many small jumps in the story。I enjoyed the characters a bit more。 I thought they I enjoyed this one more than Haven of Hollowdale High。 Probably due to the fact that it was longer and allowed us to see a tad bit more of the relationship developing between the characters。However， I still felt like there were a lot of potential scenes that were skipped over that could have shown their relationship building that was just briefly mentioned。 I wish we could have seen a bit more and there weren’t so many small jumps in the story。I enjoyed the characters a bit more。 I thought they were both interesting and I did like the relationship the two of them had and their story。 Sometimes I felt like Beth forgave Gray way too often and should have given him a little bit more shit for the things he did。 It seemed like no matter what he did， she barely asked questions about it or told him how it made her feel。 He was just quickly forgiven。In the end， I did enjoy it and am interested to see how the rest of the series goes。 。。。more
